When planning for a commission, I like to do a pre-sketch like a muscle memory exercise to get more familiar with the image I'm about to recreate. This was a very special graphite piece that went to an outfit in Argentina. Sometimes these go with the original artwork and sometimes they sit in my sketchbook.
